Foods to Avoid

undefinedSticky and Chewy foods: Caramels,Redskins, Minties and Bubble gum etc.

Hard and Crunchy foods: Nuts, Biscuits, Ice, Ribs, Potato Chips, Taco shells and Popcorn etc.

Minimize Sugary foods: Cakes, Ice Cream, Drinks with sugar eg Tea, Coffee, Soft drink Cordial and Sweetened tea

Foods you have to bite into: corn on the cob, apples, carrots (Unless cut into very small pieces)

Chewing on hard things (for example, pens, pencils or fingernails) can damage the braces. Damaged braces will cause treatment to take longer.
